This book is such an adorable illustration of how we experience different emotions but together we can come together as true friends. True Joy! The book is engaging for the imagination in every page you read. My children have enjoyed it thoroughly and I cannot wait to see how excited they get for book 2.

“Never under estimate the power of kindness to change the wind.” As a mom of a voracious reader, I have found it to be a consuming challenge to find captivating stories for my daughter that still protect/preserve her innocence. “Finding Foxtale Forest” is a true find! This amazingly imaginative and captivating story preserves the innocence, while also providing inspiring truth and indispensable values that not enough novels for youth have. The author, Madeleine Hewitt, has a talent in her writing that seems very C.S. Lewis-like in his “Chronicles of Narnia,” as she provides the reader great adventure with humor and great characters, while weaving subtle invaluable life lessons. That is a very rare find, indeed. We live in a time when we want our daughters to know they can change the wind!

A few pages into reading this with my 6 & 10 year old daughters, the 10 year old excitedly stated, "That's happened to me!" This lovely book sparks meaningful conversations between myself & my daughters! Thank you Madeleine (author) and Finding Foxtale!

What a joy to read Finding Foxtale Forest, before I wrapped one up for each of my children, to read to their children! The creativity and adventure is beautiful and the appeal to friendship is the most meaningful message, giving vision to the little ones of our next generation.

My 7 year old daughter and I loved this free-spirited story filled with friendship! We loved getting to know the characters in Part 1. It was the perfect set up to the magical adventures they begin in Part 2. We're already looking forward to the Second book in the Finding Foxtale Forest!!

These characters are outstanding. My daughter shouts their names every time we start reading about an adventure - "Pax! Kez! Amy!" Best of all, she talks about admirable traits in a way I haven't seen with other stories.

Profound insights into self-awareness and the challenges of interpersonal relationships are as impressive as the magical fantasies within which these stories take form. Five young girls experience the unifying power of teaming towards purposes larger than themselves. And it works! Diverse personalities and giftedness, when working in congenial collaboration, can win the day. While written for younger girls, the allegories are not lost on us… adults. Each adventure gave me pause for thought.

You don't want to miss out on this book. It's absolutely incredible and my daughter loves it.

First off, as a mother, I cannot express how heartwarming it is to see your children love and look forward to reading a book so much. Especially one with such heartwarming messages and sweet characters.

As a former educator, I truly admire a well written book. The five characters, Eva, Pax, Dani, Kez, and Amy all feel like part of our family.

If you are looking for a book to read to your children, or one they can read on their own (my 2nd grader enjoys me reading it to her in the evenings, and my 5th grader enjoys reading it on her own), I have no doubt you will love and adore Finding Foxtale Forest.

Wonderful positive book for young girls!

Loved reading this book and have shared it with friends and neighbors whose daughters and moms and dads love it too. The author introduces the characters, supported by beautiful illustrations and then the adventures start, of course the fox is the mysterious glue that holds it all together. Beautifully written and illustrated. Truly a joy.

Absolutely fantastic. I’m wishing the Fox would appear in my kitchen and ask for my help in this magical world.

I bought this book for my neices and have been reading through them this summer. I can not rant and rave enough about them. First, the writing is superb. The writer has a lovely and winsome vocabulary and an animated cadence to her writing (it's easy to read it outloud with dramatic voices!). The scenes move at a quick enough pace to keep the girls interested such that they often ask for "one more chapter!" even when there are chapters without illustrations. The illustrations throughout the book are beautiful and fun, capturing the imagination yet leaving enough un-painted to let the mind wander and create on its own. Best of all, the content of the book has spurred on many-a-conversations about bravery, identity, and leadership. I will be buying this for every young girl in my life! Thank you, FoxTale!
